Illustrations for the HSE Shattered Lives web campaign.

To accompany the serious and sometimes tragic stories of real life accidents and their consequences I was asked to produce a series of simple vector illustrations.

The emphasis was on the stories so it was important that the illustrations be sombre in tone and almost technical in style so as not to detract from the factual nature.

Due to an accident at work these kids can’t go fishing with their dad.

Missed deadlines.

After an accident workers start to talk and the business suffers from low morale.

A woman has to cancel the family holiday because of an accident at work.
